ANZAC Day Resources

ANZAC Day is an opportunity to remember and learn about an important part of New Zealand's history.

Often I find that by Year 7/8 student feel they have done ANZAC Day every year and that they already know a lot. The resources I have created aim to do ANZAC day differently by integrating across the curriculum, allowing your students to have an authentic, original and valuable learning.

Using ANZAC day for whole class teaching at the end of the term, when everyone might be done with groups, or at the beginning of the term, when we need to re-establish expectations, is a way to use my ANZAC Day resources. As well as ANZAC Day reading my resources also include literacy task boards which encourages choice, collaging visual art and an inquiry resource that allows students to do their own learning which they share with the class.

Please feel free to take a look at these resources. Click on the images below to be taken straight to my website where you can find more information.
