Happy St. Paddy's Day

Today is St. Patrick's Day and this week there is a great opportunity to get your students writing limericks; which they will enjoy and have a lot of fun with.

I have had a last-minute change to my week so I am going to take an hour or two to teach my students about limericks and get them writing their own. Any opportunity to write poetry is a valuable use of time and allows your students to have fun and feel successful as writers.
