Canterbury Quake - Novel Study

Canterbury Quake is a historical novel written as the diary of a 12 year old girl. It is set in 2010-2011 when Christchurch experienced a number of large earthquakes including a fatal earthquake on Tuesday 22nd February 2011. This novel gives a real life glimpse of what it was like to live in Christchurch during this period of New Zealand's recent history.
 
 
This novel study is designed to take 4-5 weeks to complete.  There is are reading plan which divides the novel into 15 days. Each day has an activity based on what has been read and a word from the text to find the definition for. There are also 3 follow up activities which can be completed once the novel has been read.
