Matariki - Literacy Choice Boards

This resource is a literacy based choice board based around Matariki. It combines NZ History, literacy, science and student agency.
 
This resource will grow your students knowledge about Matariki in an engaging format. Students will complete a range of reading comprehension tasks. The extra tasks have more of a writing focus, encouraging students to be creative, do their own research and share what they learn with their classmates. Students will lead their own learning which helps build learning skills and key competencies.
 
This resource could be your complete reading program for a few weeks or easily be integrated into your literacy program.
