Wahine Disaster - Novel Study

The Wahine Disaster is a historical novel written in diary form. It is set in 1968 and follows the journey of a 12 year old girl who survives the Wahine sinking in the Wellington Harbour, New Zealand.
 
 
This novel study is designed to take 4-5 weeks to complete.  There is are reading plan which divides the novel into 15 days. Each day has an activity based on what has been read and a word from the text to find the definition for. There are also 3 follow up activities which can be completed once the novel has been read.
