Word of the Week (1)

Vocabulary is an important part of reading comprehension. This resource has everything you need to introduce a new word to your class every week, for a whole term.
 
It is based on a multi-sensory approach which senior, primary school students will enjoy. Students listen to and say the word in English and Te Reo, use actions (NZ sign language), discuss images showing the word, draw it, write it and do more traditional vocabulary activities (e.g. synonym/antonym).
 
All the words are 'tier 2' vocabulary which will help your students across the curriculum.
